St. James Social Service Corporation ("The Organization" "Corporation" ) purpose is to provide health, human services , education, self-development and other social services to individuals and and families in the Greater Newark areas.
Social Work: Consists of the following services: HIV/Aids Awareness, Testing and Counselling, Housing Assistance, St. James Diaper Bank and Period Project: HIV/Aids Program : SJSSC aims to reduce new infections, identify and counsell those who test posistive and provides ongoing nutritional support. SJSSC provides Pampers and feminine hygiene products to those in need Lead prevention and awareness program . substance abuse detoxification and counselling. The organization provides referral for emeregency shelter and furnitire assistance.
