Organizations Filed Purposes: Organizations Mission (Page 1, Part I, Line 1 & Page 2, Part III, Line 1): Princeton Montessori Society is dedicated to developing passion and nurturing potential in each child, through the values and principles of the Montessori philosophy. (Continued Schedule O)

The Organization is an independent school that offers progressive, scientifically-supportededucational programs for children from eight weeks of age through eighth grade. These programs consist of multi-age groupings where children enjoy a prepared environment that optimizes personalized learning, allows for peer learning, and emphasizes hands-on and applied experiences that lead tomastery of both academic knowledge and real world skills that will serve them intoadulthood. These prepared learning environments are supported by highly traineddevelopmental specialists who are educational guides, supporting the holistic development ofthe children they serve. In this way, we are able to meet our mission for each child.

In 2018, Princeton Montessori School proudly received authorization for the Middle years Programme asan International Baccalaureate (IB) World School at the MYP level. A new committee was formed toplan faculty professional development, intended to increase faculty attendance at professionaldevelopment opportunities throughout the year. An improved employee growth and development plan(GDP) system was implemented to align faculty and staff performance with organizational goals. A newinternet network was installed providing secure and uninterrupted service throughout the building toincrease bandwidth, network speed and support technology needs in the classroom. Finally, the Schoolinstituted a print program by installing several state of the art copiers/printers throughout the school tosupport teachers in creating better teaching materials.

For the 2017-18 academic year, the school had the highest enrollment of the past four years. This was adirect result of leaderships focus on developing a contemporary independent school admissions teammodel, forming and benefiting from a Retention Committee, improving our marketing and branding, andmost importantly, investing in quality improvements within each program. In making strides towardhelping parents better understand the value of a quality Montessori education, we createdprogram-specific videos, restructured our Back to School Night format to allow hands on interaction withmaterials and teacher described purpose of curriculum. The school has improved its promotion of key and unique happenings and traditions, such as our middle school trip to Spain and involvement withMontessori Model United Nations, which will also benefit retention.
