We Meet. We Cook. We Eat. We Learn.Suppers takes a practical, hands-on approach to help people move towards healthy behavior change. We highlight the importance of eating whole foods and discovering a way of cooking and eating that supports good health. Many programs are peer-led and designed to connect participants with people having similar experiences and the desire to eat in a healthier way.Signature Meetings, Workshops, Webinars and Educational Presentations are delivered in an environment where information sharing is encouraged. We offer innovative programs informed by our medical advisors, dietitians and other relevant health care practitioners, based on the current thinking and health care practices. We provide a non-judgmental approach, as we understand that people do not learn well or heal when feeling judged. Participants connect with and find support from others who may share similar experiences. Suppers accomplishes its mission by:-Providing Suppers Meetings and Programs in both public settings and private homes creating opportunities to engage people in a healthy behavior change process.- Providing online resources to support participants' healthy change process.- Providing training and support for Facilitators and Instructors' efforts to be agents of healthy change.- The Program is available virtually (online) and in-person in the Princeton and Trenton regions - with Signature Meetings also held in various other locations. Impact - 2019 Statistics- Held 19 Workshops - 310 people in attendance - Held 18 Monthly Signature Meetings - an average of 12 people in attendance at each meeting (216)- Held 1 Weekly Signature Meeting - an average of 10 people in attendance at each meeting - Monthly Dinner for Stable Blood Sugar and Mood Chemistry - an average of 10-12 people in attendance at each meeting- Monthly Lunch for Improving Brain Health an average of 10-12 people in attendance at each meeting- 7-Month Workshop in the Garden - an average of 12 people in attendance
