THE YWCA IS DEDICATED TO ELIMINATING RACISM AND EMPOWERING WOMEN.

IN OUR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAMS, WE ARE COMMITTED TO UNLOCKING CREATIVITY AND CURIOSITY WHILE NURTURING CULTURAL COMPETENCY AND A LOVE OF LEARNING IN ALL OUR CHILDREN. EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION IS CRUCIAL TO THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE WHOLE CHILD; SOCIALLY, EMOTIONALLY, COGNITIVELY AND PHYSICALLY. THEREFORE, AS PART OF OUR COMMITMENT TO EMPOWERING WOMEN AND ELIMINATING RACISM, WE PROVIDE A SAFE, HIGH-QUALITY, INCLUSIVE AND ENGAGING CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM THAT SUPPORTS, EDUCATES AND EMPOWERS RESPECTFUL, COMPASSIONATE AND CULTURALLY COMPETENT CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY.

THE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM PROVIDES QUALITY CHILDCARE FOR CHILDREN IN GRADES K-6 FROM THE END OF THE SCHOOL DAY UNTIL 6 P.M. IN A SAFE, NURTURING, AND ENRICHING ENVIRONMENT. CORE CURRICULA INCLUDE A BULLYING-PREVENTION PROGRAM AND A MULTICULTURAL PROGRAM THAT TEACHES CHILDREN RESPECT AND FOSTERS SELF-ESTEEM.

THE BREAST CANCER RESOURCE CENTER (BCRC) IS COMMITTED TO IMPROVING WOMEN'S HEALTH AND EMPOWERING WOMEN TO TAKE CONTROL OVER THEIR PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING. THE BCRC IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING SUPPORT AND INFORMATION TO WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES AFFECTED BY BREAST CANCER, AND TO INCREASE UNDERSTANDING OF THE DISEASE. OUR MISSION IS TO EQUIP EVERY WOMAN WHO REACHES OUT TO US WITH PERSONALIZED PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THAT WILL ENABLE HER TO LIVE WITH, THROUGH, AND BEYOND BREAST CANCER. THE BCRC'S UNIQUE AND COMPREHENSIVE APPROACH TO BREAST CANCER SUPPORT INCLUDES EDUCATION AND COUNSELING, FITNESS AND WELLNESS, WIG AND PROSTHESES FITTING, AND A TRANSPORTATION AND MEAL PROGRAM FOR THOSE CURRENTLY UNDERGOING TREATMENT.
