TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A FACILITY THAT WILL PROVIDE HOMELESS CATS WITH SHELTER, FOOD, WATER AND MEDICAL CARE UNTIL THE CATS CAN BE ADOPTED. ALSO, TO TRAP-NEUTER-RELEASE (TNR) FERAL CATS IN OUR SURROUNDING AREAS.
In 2019, Tabby's Place continued its mission of saving cats from hopeless situations. We provided the following programs:- Intake of cats from other shelters, local animal control & the public, focusing on cats with special needs- TNR (trap-neuter-release)services to selected local feral colonies- Free classes on TNR & hand-raising bottle babies (kittens separated from their mothers before weaning)
