SUPPORT AND CONTINUE THE GOOD WORKS OF ITS MISSIONARIES AT HOME AND ACROSS THE GLOBE, SPECIFICALLY FOR THE BRETHREN IN SOUTH AFRICA AND ZIMBABWE, WHO ARE COMMITTED TO CARING FOR THE PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF LOST, HURTING AND DISENFRANCHISED PEOPLE. SUPPORT PEOPLE BY TRAINING AND EQUIPPING FUTURE CHURCH LEADERS AND CONSTRUCTING AND OPERATING CHURCHES IN THESE AREAS, SUPPLYING CRITICAL MEDICAL CARE WHERE NEEDED AND HELPING TO REBUILD THE LIVES OF THOSE IN AREAS DEVASTATED BY WAR OR NATURAL DISASTER.
2018 Ministry Activities1.In school programs once a week during the school day in five different schools, teaching life principles based on biblical truths. We engaged approximately 600 students.2.Discipleship Group- This is a weekly in-depth bible study and discipleship program. Over 45 students are involved. 3.Monthly youth event for area youth including games, worship, teaching and bible studies engaging over 75 youth per event.4.Youth leadership development camp where 65 youth attended. This program starts with a 5 day leadership intensive camp. During the camp the students create their own community improvement projects which they implement throughout the year with follow up, check points and award events. 5.Youth camp for spiritual development. 62 youth attended this camp which focuses on discipleship, self awareness and bible studies.6.Kids camps. We conducted three children's camps where a total of 460 kids attended. These camps include games, singing, dancing, crafts bible storoes and snacks.7.Monthly day rallies for children on Saturdays.We helped the youth conduct 3 day rallies for children in three different villages where about 150 kids attended.8.We began a young mens mentoring program with men from the US mentoring 9 young men from South Africa9.We partnered with 2 childrens homes throughout the year providing medical support, school supplies, education, camps and weekend retreats.10.We partnered with 3 local churches for leadership development and ministry engagement.11.We partnered with one Christian para-church organization in South Africa for youth leadership and development.12.We hosted six different events for area churches including church picnics, prayer retreats, leadership development and men/women retreats.13. We conducted 10 different trips with a total of 65 people from the US to help with all the activities detailed above.
