Teterboro I Housing Corporation ("Teterboro") was organized to establish a housing development to provide a significant portion of its rental housing to low and moderate income families of the Borough of Teterboro in compliance with the New Jersey Council on Affordable Housing guidelines and federal income tax laws providing for tax-exempt municipal financing of affodable rental housing. In addition to the foregoing stated purpose, Teterboro has contracted with the Housing Authority of Bergen County under Section 8 of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Housing Assistance Program to make housing assistance payments to the Authority on behalf of qualified tenants.
