The Association is a forum for the study and exchange of information concerning external and internal industry issues affecting its members, as well as advocates on behalf of its members before the public and various state and federal governmental entities.
The Association currently serves telecommunications carriers, internet service providers and over 65 associated member companies involved with the telecommunications industry in New York State. Through a series of conferences, meetings, seminars and periodic "Issues Updates," NYSTA educates, informs, and provides operational support to the members regarding telecommunications industry issues.
