Organizations Filed Purposes: The primary purpose is to promote and further Telugu Literary and Cultural Activities and to encourage and develop creative and technical literature in Telugu in the State of New York and of the neighboring communities. The organization is pubicly supported and exempt from Federal taxes.

Telugu Literary and Cultural Association "the "Association" is a not-for-profit corporation incorporated in the City of Newark, County of Essex and State of New Jersey and Organized in April 1978 for the primary purpose of promoting and furthering Telugu Literary and Cultural Activities and to encourage and develop creative and technical literature in Telugu in the States of New Jersey, New York and of the neighboring communities. The organization is pubicly supported and exempt from Federal taxes.

THE EXPENDITURES INCURRED FOR CULTURAL ACTIVITIES FOR DIWALI WHICHIS CELEBRATED ALL OVER INDIA WITH DIFFERENCES AND PARTICULARLY TO TELUGUSPEAKING PEOPLE.THE CULTURAL PRACTICES TAUGHT TO TELUGU SPEAKING INDIANS IN USA.

AS IN THE PAST, THE ASSOCIATION CONDUCTED SEVERAL OTHER CULTURAL PROGRAMS FOR PROMOTING AND EDUCATING THE RESIDENTS OF CULTURAL PRACTICES FOLLOWED BY TELUGU SPEAKING AMERICAN INDIANS.

THE EXPENDITURES INCURRED TO CELEBRATE NEW YEAR , KNOWN AS UGADI BY TELUGU SPEAKING PEOPLE IN ANDHRA AND TELANGANA.THE CULTURAL PRACTICES TAUGHT TO TELUGU SPEAKING INDIANS IN USA.
