The college opened its doors for the first time in 1999 and has graduated more than 1,500 students from 2002 to 2014 with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in arts, science, and education. More than eighty percent have gone on to acquire masters level education and entered many professional careers in teaching, service in government and the private sector.
