CARING STAFF IS AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY TO ASSIST PARTICIPANTS IN REMAINING HEALTHY, INDEPENDENT AND CONNECTED TO QUALITY SOCIAL, COMMUNITY, AND MEDICAL SERVICES. ACCESS IS ALSO A NYS HEALTH HOME PROVIDER, AFFILIATED WITH A LARGE GROUP OF HEALTH AND COMMUNITY AGENCIES THAT HAVE AGREED TO WORK TOGETHER TO HELP PEOPLE STAY HEALTHIER AND SAFER IN THE COMMUNITY. MARY S. TAYLOR: A 150 BED FACILITY DESIGNED TO ALLEVIATE HOMELESSNESS AND DRUG USE. A TEAM OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROFESSIONALS PROVIDE CLIENT CENTERED ACTIVITES TO EDUCATE CLIENTS TO BE SELF-SUFFICIENT AND FUNCTIONING WITHOUT SUBSTANCES
HARBOR HOUSE I & II - HARBOR HOUSE PIONEERED THE TREATMENT OF HOMELESS DUALLY DIAGNOSED PERSONS WITHIN A MODIFIED THERAPEUTIC COMMUNITY. AN INTEGRATED TEAM OF MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROFESSIONALS PROVIDE PSYCHIATRIC ASSESSMENT, MEDICATION THERAPY, LIFE SKILLS, FAMILY COUNSELING, EDUCATION, VOCATIONAL TRAINING, WORK EXPERIENCE, HIV/AIDS PREVENTION AND SUPPORT, AND AFTERCARE. HARBOR HOUSE I SERVES 59 MEN AND WOMEN; HARBOR HOUSE II SERVES 50 MEN. INDIVIDUALIZED TREATMENT TAILORED TO DIFFERENT DIAGNOSES AND VARYING LEVELS OF FUNCTIONING IS OFFERED, WITH THE GOAL OF ENHANCING QUALITY OF LIFE.
