ACCESS I, II, III AND IV - FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS, THE ACCESS PROGRAM AT ARGUS HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED AS EXPERT IN CASE AND CARE MANAGEMENT. CARING STAFF IS AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY TO ASSIST PARTICIPANTS IN REMAINING HEALTHY, INDEPENDENT AND CONNECTED TO QUALITY SOCIAL, COMMUNITY, AND MEDICAL SERVICES. ACCESS IS ALSO A NYS HEALTH HOME PROVIDER, AFFILIATED WITH A LARGE GROUP OF HEALTH AND COMMUNITY AGENCIES THAT HAVE AGREED TO WORK TOGETHER TO HELP PEOPLE STAY HEALTHIER AND SAFER IN THE COMMUNITY. THE ACCESS NETWORK PROVIDED SERVICES TO THOSE CHALLENGED AND AFFECTED BY HIV/AIDS, SUBSTANCE ABUSE & MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS, AS WELL OTHER CHRONIC & PERSISTENT ILLNESSES.

MARY S. TAYLOR: A 150 BED FACILITY DESIGNED TO ALLEVIATE HOMELESSNESS AND DRUG USE. A TEAM OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROFESSIONALS PROVIDE CLIENT CENTERED ACTIVITES TO EDUCATE CLIENTS TO BE SELF-SUFFICIENT AND FUNCTIONING WITHOUT SUBSTANCES

HARBOR HOUSE I & II - HARBOR HOUSE PIONEERED THE TREATMENT OF HOMELESS DUALLY DIAGNOSED PERSONS WITHIN A MODIFIED THERAPEUTIC COMMUNITY. AN INTEGRATED TEAM OF MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROFESSIONALS PROVIDE PSYCHIATRIC ASSESSMENT, MEDICATION THERAPY, LIFE SKILLS, FAMILY COUNSELING, EDUCATION, VOCATIONAL TRAINING, WORK EXPERIENCE, HIV/AIDS PREVENTION AND SUPPORT, AND AFTERCARE. HARBOR HOUSE I SERVES 59 MEN AND WOMEN; HARBOR HOUSE II SERVES 50 MEN. INDIVIDUALIZED TREATMENT TAILORED TO DIFFERENT DIAGNOSES AND VARYING LEVELS OF FUNCTIONING IS OFFERED, WITH THE GOAL OF ENHANCING QUALITY OF LIFE. MANY HARBOR HOUSE RESIDENTS HAVE BEEN DISCHARGED BACK INTO THE COMMUNITY SELF-SUFFICIENT AND FUNCTIONING.
