TO DISSEMINATE INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC AT LARGE REGARDING CRIMINAL JUSTICE ISSUES. TO ASSIST WRONGLY CONVICTED INDIVIDUALS IN REINTEGRATING BACK INTO SOCIETY AND REBUILDING THEIR LIVES.
REINTEGRATION EFFORTS DURING 2012, THE FOUNDATION OPENED THEIR OFFICES ON MANHATTANS UPPER WEST SIDE AND AN APARTMENT TO BE USED EXCLUSIVELY BY EXONEREES AND PAROLEES FOR USE IN THEIR REINTEGRATION INTO SOCIETY.. THE FOUNDATION ESTABLISHED A FUND TO ENABLE INCARCERATED INDIVIDUALS, WITHOUT ADEQUATE FUNDS, TO GET THEIR DNA EVIDENCE TESTED. THE FOUNDATION RECEIVED OVER 700 APPLICATIONS FOR REVIEW OF THEIR CASES, RESPONDED TO MANY OF THEM AND TOOK ON 15 TO 20 CASE INVESTIGATIONS. THE FOUNDATION MET WITH LEGISLATORS AT THE STATE, LOCAL AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT LEVELS, REGARDING THE SPECIFIC IMPACT WITH RESPECT TO DNA PRESERVATION AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE ISSUES.
