TO COORDINATE AND SUPPORT ACTIVITIES OF NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ENGAGED IN HEALTH CARE ACTIVITIES FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE GENERAL HEALTH OF THE COMMUNITIES SERVED BY THEM; AND4. TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN HEALTH CARE INSTITUTIONS, HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS AND THE COMMUNITIES THEY SERVE.
ST. BARNABAS COMMUNITY ENTERPRISES, INC. ("SBCE") WAS FORMED TO ACHIEVE PURPOSES THAT ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC IN NATURE WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. SBCE'S MISSION IS TO RECEIVE AND ADMINISTER FUNDS; TAKE AND HOLD BY BEQUEST, DEVISE, GIFT, GRANT, PURCHASE, LEASE OR OTHERWISE ANY PROPERTY WITHOUT LIMITATION AS TO AMOUNT OR VALUE; FORMULATE, MANAGE AND CONTROL DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY OTHER ENTITIES, FIRMS, CORPORATIONS AND THE LIKE AS MAY BE DEEMED NECESSARY OR DESIRABLE TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF SBCE; TO SELL, CONVEY OR OTHERWISE DISPOSE OF ANY PROPERTY AND OR INVEST, REINVEST OR DEAL WITH THE PRINCIPAL OR THE INCOME THEREOF IN SUCH MANNER AS IN THE JUDGMENT OF SBCE WILL BEST PROMOTE THE PURPOSES OF SBCE.
