Certified Naturally Grown offers peer-review certification for farmers and beekeepers producing food for their local communities by working in harmony with nature without synthetic chemicals or GMOs.
In FY 2019-20 Certified Naturally Grown developed the Senior Remote Inspector program which provided a safe and meaningful approach to peer-inspections during the COVID-19 pandemic. CNG also reviewed applications for certification from more than 270 farmers and beekeepers. A total of about 800 farmers participated in our five certification programs. CNG continued to develop the Guide to Exceptional Markets and identified videographers and farmer teachers to help produce seven short educational films which would form the basis for more robust educational programming to be offered in FY 2020-21.
