Senior and Youth Program- COPO Community Center has become a great place for seniors in our community to spend their day. People over 55 that have Medicaid or Medicare and are not working may be eligible to join the Senior Day Care program. The program offers breakfast lunch, ESL Citizenship classes, pick drop transportation to the center, nurse social worker home visits, home health aid assistance, beauty salon care services, computer classes and indoor/outdoor activities. COPO Youth Program participate Teenagers in COPOs youth program annually. Every year the program includes community services, sports, educational and special cultural events. The program builds their understanding of their cultures, communication skills, neighborhood litter eradication and more importantly, respect and acceptance. In a city with very limited open spaces, COPO has a developed 10,000 squares foot yard for the youths to play in a safe environment. It is a safe place away from gangs and drugs.
