Mission Statement East Flatbush Village, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing support and information to low-income and indigent populations. The organization seeks to inform the population through sports and recreation, vocational, quality of life, health awareness, and mentoring services to promote self-advancement.

Mentoring East Flatbush Village offers mentoring and rites of passage activities for gender-specific cohorts of boys and girls. Our Boys2ManHood male mentoring component uses positive male role models to prepare adolescent youth for entry into the workforce and the responsibility of raising a family. In our Sistas with a Vision guidance component, we focus on building young women's self-esteem and positive decision-making skills, cultivating young womens leadership abilities while teaching them important life skills which include etiquette, sewing, crocheting, dressing appropriately and effective communication.
