Luria Academy is a child-centered environment dedicated to academic excellence and a sophisticated knowledge of Jewish text and Jewish heritage. Located in the Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, Luria Academy is a Jewish Montessori-based school, serving children ages 2-14. Ours is a remarkably diverse community that models learning with and from people of all backgrounds. By teaching our students a uniquely integrated Judaic-secular curriculum we offer a well-rounded education of the highest standards. Above all, Luria fosters Jewish pride, "Ahavat Yisrael", and a deep sense of compassion and commitment for all humankind, "Ahavat Olam".

We successfully educated 275 students, including students with special needs. We had over 50 parents volunteer in various capacities to support our endeavors as an institution. Our 3rd, 5th and 7th grade students successfully completed the Terra Nova Common Core standardized test and completed a dual curriculum in Judaic studies and secular subjects guided by the new York State Common Core.
