Organizations Filed Purposes:
North Brooklyn Development Corporation was formed to assist, promote, encourage and stimulate the construction and/or rehabilitation of residential buildings in blighted or underdeveloped areas of Brooklyn, NY.
Three After School Programs and one Summer Camp program are provided for 320 elementary students.Two programs are operating after regular school hours and one program is operating entire year. During the regular school hours programs operate from 230pm to 530pm and during holidays and vacation 10 hours a day. The programs have been designated to promote the emotional, social, and physical well being of children, enhance academic achievement and develop leadership.
Housing Preservation Program - Provides additional aid to current neighborhood preservation companies to create affordable housing opportunities for low and moderate income families and helps preventing the evictions of those tenants who have been living in this neighborhood for many years and now they are forced to move out from this neighborhood.
Community and Senior Services Program - Provides support and assistance to local community regarding series of local matters.
