Awareness/ Education Oceanic Global taps into universal passions to raise awareness for issues impacting our oceans and provide individual and industry solutions that drive positive change. We create immersive experiences that engage local communities, amplify efforts of synergistic groups, generate measurable impact, and ignite global action. Oceanic Global has created a scientific advisory board (currently includes six world-renowned scientists). The scientific advisory board works with the Oceanic Global team to curate educational ocean content showcased at Oceanic's grassroots initiatives as well as approves Oceanic Global's educational resources. OCEANIC IS FOCUSING ON BUILDING ITS DIGITAL COMMUNITY THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA AND MEDIA PARTNERSHIPS TO REACH A BROADER AUDIENCE AND AMPLIFY THE WORK OF OCEANIC'S PARTNERS. SINCE INCEPTION, OCEANIC HAS FIFTEEN AMBASSADORS AS PART OF ITS PROGRAM. OCEANIC'S AMBASSADORIAL PROGRAM IS IMPORTANT TO LEVERAGE AMBASSADOR'S NETWORKS, IMAGES AND/OR SKILLS TO ENGAGE NEW AUDIENCES AND INDUSTRIES AROUND ADVOCATING FOR OCEAN CONSERVATION.Collaboration DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS WHICH ALLOW OCEANIC'S AUDIENCE TO CONNECT WITH THOSE AT THE FOREFRONT OF CHANGE. OCEANIC IS NOT INTERESTED IN REINVENTING THE CONTENT WHEEL, BUT PARTNERING WITH THOSE WHO ARE DOING IMPACTFUL WORK. OCEANIC WILL INTRODUCE ESTABLISHED ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS TO THE PUBLIC, ALLOWING EACH OF THEM AN OPPORTUNITY TO EDUCATE ON THEIR MISSION, EXHIBIT THEIR PROVEN SOLUTIONS AND ENABLE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ATTENDEES TO GET INVOLVED WITH THEIR EFFORTS. Oceanic Global has launched over 38 educational and awareness-oriented campaigns worldwide, partnered with over 16 universities, had over 180 (and counting) artists partner with us on various scales, and have activated in over 20 cities globally to take action towards conservation. In addition, Oceanic Global has partnered with the United Nations as the official non-profit and production partner to the UN World Oceans Day 2019 and 2020 event. As part of Oceanic Global's grassroots initiatives, Oceanic Global launched our 'Hubs' program.
