Operation Warrior Shield by itself with strategic partners,provides comprehensive PTSD programs for veterans, military first responders including training in Transcendental Meditation the Vetwell Program- Tournesol
Operation Warrior Shield successfully supported the following financial and managerial efforts needed to help veterans, Gold Star families, first responders, military and their families during 2019 Supported a Wellness Program for approx 480 Veterans processed through the Dept. of Veteran Affairs the NYC Dept. of Veteran Services. Supported the David Lynch Foundation training an average of 40 to 50 veterans monthly helping them build resistance to stress and overcome PTSD symptoms and provided support to the NYC Wellness Center re PTSD
Conducted 6 educational seminars including virtual seminars to bring awareness of the suicide epidemic within the communities at risk and to offer services to assist in recovery. Seminars were attended by those at risk and VSOs above. Programs were conducted at VA Medical Centers and the New York Open Center
