Read 718 offers free or low cost individualized reading instruction, literacy tutoring, and mentorship to students from low-income families in grades four through eight located in Brooklyn.
In 2019-2020, READ 718 opened a second location and completed three 10-week cycles of our core reading intervention program, serving a total of 98 children. We also held a 6 week remote cycle in the summer of 2020 serving 60 children, and our Saturday Reading Room which served 20 first and second grade children.
