Home Ownership Services - The Organization provides pre- and post-purchase education for potential homebuyers. One-on-one credit and budget counseling are provided to assist in the journey to homeownership. This program also includes a foreclosure prevention counseling program which provides services to residents of Erie and Niagara counties. This service is funded through the New York State Attorney General Homeowner Protection Program and includes: early intervention, one-on-one counseling, conferring with lenders on client's behalf, financial capability coaching, referrals to a HOPE line and other supporting resources.This program is also funded by government contributions of $156,809.
Lending - The lending program provides a home improvement loan designed to fit the customers' unique financial needs. Our lending services also provide purchase assistance loans which supplement traditional purchase financing for qualified first time home buyers. This program manages the organizations loan portfolio including collections, restructuring of loans, and counseling customers.This program is also funded by government contributions that amounted to $133,792.
Residential Rehab - This home improvement program may provide rehabilitation grants to customers who meet income eligibility requirements. Staff act as a liaison between the customer and the contractor; assisting with the outline of home improvement needs, selecting a contractor, and monitoring progress throughout the project. This program is also funded by government contributions that amounted to $452,455.
