TWO RESEARCH REPORTS COMPLETED IN 2019 THAT ARE OF IMPORTANCE TO THE INDUSTRY WERE: ACQUISITION OF SALT CORE FOR FUTURE LAB TESTING PROJECTS AND INTERPRETATION OF FIELD TEST DATA FOR FLOW-INDUCED DEFORMATION IN A CRUDE OIL STORAGE WELL.
THE INSTITUTE HELD SEMI-ANNUAL MEETINGS OF MEMBERS REGARDING MAJOR ASPECTS OF SOLUTION MINING. THE CONFERENCES WERE HELD IN NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA, AND BERLIN, GERMANY.
