The American Legion was Chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, wartime Veteran's organization devoted to mutual helpfulness to the community , state & nation. The American Legion provides in varies ways to support any veteran in need along with our community. It is a non-profit organization 501(c) 19.
Donations to groups or persons. These are non-profit, educational, research or Veteran's hospital programs, support of local sports and community programs.
Sick calls to ill members we send flowers and fruit baskets, money or other appropriate items or needs. Also we send flowers or do remembrances to deceased members and members families.
