All volunteer organization offering low or no cost spay, neuter and vaccination service to end the overpopulation of companion animals. Services offered to Rescue groups and companion animals owned by low income families. CNY SNAP has an active cat adoption program through our clinic shelter and through PetSmart Stores.
CNY SNAP is all volunteer organization whose mission is to end the overpopulation of companion animals. Offering low or no cost spay neuter and vaccination services for dogs, feral barn and stray cats along with pets belonging to low income households. CNY SNAP works with animal welfare agencies and rescue groups. CNY SNAP has an adoption program through our clinic location and in PetSmart Stores. All cats and dogs are spayed, neutered, vaccinated, tested and micro chipped before adoption.
During 2019 over 3000 cats and dogs from 12 counties were spay, neuter, vaccinated at our weekly clinics. Services offered to low income individuals as well as Rescue Organizations. Over 1000 cats were altered for Rescue Groups assisting animals as far way as 75 miles, areas that have limited or no low cost spay services available.
During 2019 more than 500 cats were surrendered to SNAP. All receive necessary medical services, were spay/neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped, fostered and socialized leading up to the adoption of 400 companion animals.
