TO SUPPORT THE WESTCHESTER-ELLENVILLE HOSPITAL INC.
IN MARCH OF 2018, ELLENVILLE REGIONAL HOSPITAL SUBMITTED A GRANT APPLICATION, STATEWIDE HEALTH CARE FACILITY TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM RFA# 17648 REQUESTING FUNDING FOR A NEW 25-BED BUILDING WHICH WILL ENHANCE ITS DELIVERY OF QUALITY, PATIENT-CENTERED SERVICES, AND REGRETABLY NO FUNDING WAS AWARDED. THE ELLENVILLE REGIONAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION IS COMMITTED TO FINANCIALLY SUPPORTING THE HOSPITAL'S REBUILDING PROJECT, WHICH IS NECESSARY IN ORDER FOR THE HOSPITAL TO CONTINUE PROVIDING ESSENTIAL HEALTH CARE SERVICES TO OUR RURAL COMMUNITY. [SEE CONTINUATION ON SCHEDULE O]SIGNIFYING ITS CONFIDENCE IN THE HOSPITAL'S ABILITY TO CONTINUE PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE AND ESSENTIAL INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT SERVICES TO THE ELLENVILLE COMMUNITY, THE FOUNDATION HAS COMMITTED $750,000 TO THE NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECT. WE, AS A FOUNDATION, SET A GOAL TO RAISE $100,000 A YEAR OVER THE NEXT 5 YEARS TO ASSURE THE FOUNDATION WILL MEET ITS COMMITTED FINANCIAL PLEDGE OF $750,000 BY THE YEAR 2022. THE FOUNDATIONS 2019 GRANT EXPENDITURES WERE LIMITED RETAINING CASH AND CASH EQUIVALENTS TO SUPPORT ITS FUTURE $750,000 PLEDGE. THE FOUNDATION IS ACTIVELY SOLICITING NEW DONORS AND SUPPORTERS AS PART OF ITS FUNDRAISING STRATEGY. ELLENVILLE REGIONAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION AWARDED ELLENVILLE REGIONAL HOSPITAL STAFF MEMBERS EDUCATION AWARD FOR $75.00.
