Organizations Filed Purposes: (1) Provide free access to college and career readiness programs and resources for academic advancement and personal growth. (2) Provide workplace introduction events (and sponsored business internships) for our students to help develop perspective on career opportunities and focus college aspirations. (3) Provide college tours and workshops to familiarize our students with the application/admissions process. (4) Provide mentorship during college and assistance in career placements. EduMaKate School Chapter: Provides a customized and holistic 16-week readiness program for target students, and partners with all stakeholders (e.g. parents, teachers, and students) to shape the way we promote college and career advancement. Our college and career readiness workshops include: Expert talks, Financial Literacy, College Fundamentals, Career Essentials, Prep4Beak, and Self-Discovery.

EduMaKate is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that partners with and empowers underserved high school students to get a college degree and realize their career dreams. EduMaKate is a free training program that empowers underserved gifted high school students helping them realize their college and career dreams through readiness workshops, workplace exploration, college tours, motivational speaking events, as well as networking, mentorship and internship opportunities. EduMaKate also provides ongoing support to students to ensure a successful graduation from high school, as well as college acceptance. Through this model, EduMaKate seeks to build confident, capable, community leaders and dedicated young professionals who have the skills and experience needed to participate fully in what the world has to offer - one student at a time.
