TO SUPPORT AND SUPPLEMENT THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION AND PUBLIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS AT THE CLERMONT STATE HISTORIC SITE.
In 2019, the Friends of Clermont served over 1,000 children via our Harvesting History program, up from 800 in 2018. We raised more funds for History Comics Club and partnered with the site to serve students in Hudson and Rhinebeck. Friends of Clermont-sponsored public programs welcomed over 800 people to the site and highlights included the world premier of a dance created specifically for Clermont, an expanded Harmonies on the Hudson Outdoor Concert Series, and the Livingston Family Reunion (held every 5-6 years).
