To provide comprehensive education in the musical arts, develop a community appreciation for the musical arts, promote the musical arts and aid young musicians interested in acquiring concert experience.
Code: 711130. Fifty seven free public music concerts have taken place since the end of our last fiscal year. Viewership total was 8,907 people. Due to COVID-19 many concerts were live video feed. This project supports the objectives of developing a community appreciation for the classical arts, and aiding musicians interested in acquiring concert experience.
Code: 611600. Creation of a massive, free, comprehensive music education system was suspended due to COVID-19. Due to our limited funding abilities and the scope of the project, progress on this program is expected to continue slowly. Once curriculum goes live online, the potential reach of this program exceeds 74.2 million people (the amount of students enrolled in school in the United States - each of whom will at some point undertake musical instruction). This project supports the objective of providing comprehensive education in the musical arts, in accordance with our mission statement.
Our program providing low-cost tutoring in music education, procurement of affordable musical instruments necessary for learning, free career management education for young musicians, and access to low-cot career tools (such as the creation of professional music recordings) was updated to address the COVID-19 pandemic, but the program continues. We have provided musical education in the above capacities to 97 people this fiscal year. This project supports the objectives of providing comprehensive music education in the musical arts, and promotion of the musical arts, in accordance with our mission statement.
