THE MISSION OF THE IWLCA IS TO CULTIVATE THE GROWTH OF AND PROMOTE EXCELLENCE IN INTERCOLLEGIATE WOMEN'S LACROSSE.
In 2019 the IWLCA purchased naming rights of a new lacrosse office and sports facility in exchange for future use for meetings, educational events and lacrosse tournaments.
The IWLCA holds an annual meeting to provide coaching education,an awards luncheon,networking opportunities and hosts the President's Cup tournament. In 2019 there were 705 attendees at the annual meeting and 450 teams participated in the President's Cup & Debut Tournaments.
During 2019 over 1079 teams participated in 5 tournaments plus the Senior All Star Game. These events were held across the country and were organized to promote a higher level of play and further increase awareness of women's lacrosse.
