This agreement was signed on December 20, 2018. A substantial amount of senior staff time and resources was spent on the development of these plans and the new website and ticketing systems they require.

Collections and Exhibitions: The Organization's work to conserve, research, and exhibit the large and diverse collections (over 40,000 objects) at Olana State Historic Site is an ongoing, year-round program. The Organization provides two full-time staff positions, the Director of Collections & Exhibitions and Collections Manager, as well as one part-time Librarian/Archivist, who are dedicated to the collections and oversee collections care on site and work closely with ORPHP's Bureau of Historic Sites on all aspects of collections care and management. In 2018, the Organization organized the special exhibition "Costume & Custom: Middle Eastern Threads at Olana" that focused on Frederic Church's collection of historic costume from his Middle Eastern travels. The exhibition enabled primary research to be conducted, which demonstrated that this collection is one of the most significant of its sort in the world. The exhibition also supported the conservation of the pieces exhibited. The exhibition was positively received and reviewed.

Museum Store: The Organization operates the Museum Store at Olana State Historic Site with the goal of providing visitors with a full range of merchandise that enables them to further their learning about Olana, Frederic Church and American Art and landscape as well as continue their connection with the site through the purchase of souvenirs and decorative objects and clothing items. The Museum Store also offers food and drink for purchase through its affiliation with the Taste NY program of the New York State Department of Agriculture, which promotes products made or distributed by New York State businesses.
