Organizations Filed Purposes:
PROVIDE PRO BONO LEGAL AND OTHER PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS DEVOTED TO DEFENDING ANIMALS FROM CRUELTY IN ALL FORMS AND PROMOTING PLANT-BASED DIET CHANGE. Most animal protection and plant-based diet change charities have only limited access to skilled legal counsel, which can be prohibitively expensive. ADP fills this void by making highly capable lawyers available to these charities, without the attendant monetary and non-monetary burdens that typically come with engaging a lawyer. ADP eliminates legal fees for its clients, which enables them to devote themselves and their resources more fully to their reason for being saving farmed animals, companion animals and wildlife from an appalling existence and horrific death, as well as promoting plant-based diet change.

ADP served as fiscal sponsor for two groups whose work aligned with ADPs mission of protecting animals and promoting plant-based diet change, receiving donations for, and subsequently making grants to, these groups in the aggregate amount of $179,100. Fiscal Sponsorship refers to the practice of non-profits offering their legal and tax exempt status to groups engaged in activities related to the sponsoring organizations mission. Fiscal sponsorship arrangements benefit organizations that are not tax-exempt by providing a flow-through pathway for revenue that the organization may not otherwise be in a position to receive. THE REMAINING $2,855 WAS USED primarily FOR ADVERTISING AND MARKETING TO PROMOTE ADP'S MISSION.
