The Corporations mission is to provide services to people with developmental disabilities. The Corporation offers several programs. Each of its program is highly focused on improving individualized skills including social skills development, independent life skills training, health and fitness support, and participatiion in community activities.
The Corporations mission is to provide program services to people with developmental disabilities, under the guidelines of the New York State Office of People with Developmental Disabilities.
Community Rehabilitation Services- The organization provides individual support to participants with activities of daily living, community inclusion, relationship building, training, and support for independence in travel, transportation, adult educational supports, development of social skills , leisure skills and appropriate behavior development, to help the individuals better access their community.
Day Habilitation - A community-base program that supports adults with developmental disabilities in learning new skills and keeping and improving on their current skills. The program takes part in and exposes the participants to community activities , including introducing the individuals to people outside of their immideate community, fostering new relationships, and assisting those individuals in becoming more involved in their community. The program also provides door to door transportation services for program participants.
In-Home Respite - Service is provided in the home and offers relief to families of individuals with mental and or/physical disabilities. The program is based on the caretakers schedule and requires trained staff to administer the care according to the needs of the families. The service also includes School Holidays and After School respite services, based on participants needs.
