Organizations Filed Purposes:
To foster the further potential of film and technology in the Hudson Valley by dedicating itself to driving local workforce development in the region and creating local crew and tech workers through workshops, training, and networking events.
Key Grip and Electric Workshop: Hands on training providing participants with a solid overview of the Grip and ELectric departments from pre production to production, led by indstry professionals Career awareness programs and job placement programs are ongoing programs to develope career development through mentorship and to place trainees on local production shooting in the Hudson Valley region of New York State.
Crew Boot Camp: An intensive training program covering all aspects of film production, 25 participants are placed in paid, on the job training positions for feature film and/or television shoots, with mentorship services.
Costume and wardrobe Workshops: Led by an award winning designer, participants trained through the pre production and production processes of a costume and wardrobe department to prepare for work on tv and film sets in entry level positions.
