Organizations Filed Purposes:
To spark wonder, engender joy, offer insight, and inspire the next generation of environmental stewards. We carry out this mission through the symbolic visual storytelling devices of mask and puppet theater.
Our 2020 performance season was cancelled due to the pandemic. In lieu of live performances, our monthly newsletters offered video clips from our performance archives to 2000+ subscribers. We also lent performance videos to a number of organizations for their festivals now held in cyberspace. Patrick did fashion a special one-man show for several socially distanced outdoor events. In October we mounted an ambitious storefront exhibition in Saugerties. Tribeca Performing Arts Center invited us to perform at their empty theater so they could live stream our customary autumn appearance to 4,500 students. Similarly, we joined with the Vanaver Caravan, who live-streamed our annual winter solstice collaboration, INTO THE LIGHT We were able to make great strides advancing our Tidewater Center in Saugerties, N.Y. Accomlishments include:Winning Planning Board approval for the project,Designing a new section of waterfront walkway,& Taking formal title to the property.
