Organizations Filed Purposes:
The purpose of the Guild is to have resident and non-resident members as well as apprentices and helpers working together in the study of intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual self-development through the production and sale of quality handicrafts and the shared communal responsibilities of maintaining its farm and facilities. The knowledge and skills gained are offered to the public through craft sales, apprenticeships, and educational programs.

The Guild serves 1,000 clients annually through its exhibitions, demonstrations of handicrafts, and sales in the Metropolitan areas of Upstate New York and at its home in Middlesex. In addition, over 300 men and women throughout the U.S. and abroad have studied traditional handcrafts in the Guild's apprenticeship programs, many of whom are now nationally recognized craftspeople. This program is also supported through contributions and investment income.
