America Needs You (ANY) fights for economic mobility for ambitious, first-generation college students. We do this by providing transformative mentorship and intensive career development.
America Needs You (ANY) provides high-achieving, low-income, first-generation collegestudents with exposure to a wide variety of careers, access to professional networks,preparation to secure and succeed in career-track internships and motivation tocomplete college. We currently operate in New York, New Jersey, Illinois andCalifornia through our community-based and school-based programs.Through an intensive workshop series spanning two years, pairing in-person trainingwith one-on-one mentorship and holistic support, over 600 first-generation collegestudents (Fellows) learn key skills necessary to succeed in todays competitiveworkforce. In addition to training and mentorship, students may also receiveprofessional development grants and in-kind support, including professional attire.Students who complete ANY programs achieve extraordinary outcomes. Consistently, year over year, ANYs Fellows complete career trajectory internships, graduate from bachelors degree programs, and secure full-time employment or enroll in full-time graduate programs at rates significantly higher than their peers.
