WE SEEK TO DEMONSTRATE THE BOLDNESS AND ACCOUNTABILITY OF B LEADERSHIP IN SERVICE OF THIS GOAL, AND OUR AIM IS TO SUPPORT THESE EFFORTS WITH AN INCLUSIVE ECONOMY PLAYBOOK, A ROBUST AND MEANINGFUL NARRATIVE OFFERING EXCITING MEDIA AND EVENT OPPORTUNITIES THAT EMBODY THE UNIQUE B TEAM "FINGERPRINT". TO ACHIEVE THE INCLUSIVE ECONOMY GOAL, WE NEED TO GROW OUR COMMUNITY OF CEOS TO REFLECT THE LEADERSHIP BREADTH, DEPTH AND DIVERSITY WE PROMOTE ELSEWHERE.CLIMATE - IN RECENT YEARS THE B TEAM HAS ADDRESSED THE CLIMATE CRISIS WITH A CLEAR CALL TO POLITICAL AND CORPORATE ACTION TO ENSURE A JUST TRANSITION TO NET-ZERO GHG BY 2050, IN LINE WITH A 1.5 DEGREE TRAJECTORY. GOING FORWARDS WE WILL START WORK TO BROADEN THIS CAMPAIGN TO NET-ZERO PLUS, LOOKING AT NET-ZERO GHG EMISSIONS, NET-ZERO SPECIES LOSS, AND NET-ZERO WASTE. WE WILL CULTIVATE LEADERS FOCUSED ON SECTOR-LEVEL SOLUTIONS AND INNOVATIONS IN PRODUCTS AND SERVICES THAT ENABLE EXPONENTIAL TRANSFORMATION.
GOVERNANCE - THE B TEAM FOCUS IN GOVERNANCE AND TRANSPARENCY IS ON ADVANCING ROBUST ACCOUNTABILITY SYSTEMS THAT HELP INCREASE TRUST. WE WILL CONTINUE OUR EFFORTS ON TRANSPARENCY IN CORPORATE STRUCTURES, COMMITMENTS TO RESPONSIBLE CORPORATE TAX AND BEGIN WORK ON THE ETHICAL AND HUMANE USE OF TECHNOLOGY. UNDERLYING THIS WE WILL ACCOMPANY BUSINESS LEADERS AS THEY CONTRIBUTE TO AN ENABLING ENVIRONMENT FOR CIVIC FREEDOMS THAT BENEFITS BUSINESS AND PEOPLE AND HELPS PROTECT THE RULE OF LAW.
WORKPLACE EQUALITY - OUR CHIEF AIM IS TO INSPIRE, SUPPORT AND EMPOWER LEADERS WHO STAND FOR EQUALITY AS A NECESSARY ELEMENT OF GOOD BUSINESS AND A CRITICAL BUILDING BLOCK FOR ENSURING AN INCLUSIVE ECONOMY BY 2030.
