MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2020: - 140 ENROLLED STUDENTS - 200 PROGRAMMING HOURS ANNUALLY, OVER SUMMER AND AFTERSCHOOL HOURS. PROGRAMMING FOCUSES ON SUPPORTING SUCCESS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL YEARS (7TH AND 8TH GRADES) AND PREPARING FOR SUCCESSFUL ADMISSION AND TRANSITION TO COLLEGE PREP HIGH SCHOOLS.
HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2020: - 258 ENROLLED STUDENTS - 80 PROGRAMMING HOURS ANNUALLY, OVER SATURDAYS AND SCHOOL YEAR WEEK NIGHTS. PROGRAMMING FOCUSES ON SUPPORTING SUCCESS IN HIGH SCHOOL YEARS (9TH-12TH), INTRODUCTION TO PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND MATCHING TO A JOB OR INTERNSHIP, AND PREPARING FOR SUCCESSFUL ADMISSIONS AND TRANSITION TO TOP-TIER FOUR YEAR COLLEGES. STUDENTS WORK CLOSELY WITH HIGH SCHOOL MENTORS WHO COACH THEM IN MONTHLY CHECK-INS.
COLLEGE SUCCESS PROGRAM FOR THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2020: - 129 ENROLLED STUDENTS - 40 PROGRAMMING HOURS ANNUALLY, REMOTELY (OVER WEBINARS AND PHONE CALL CHECK-INS) AND IN PERSON DURING SCHOOL BREAKS. PROGRAMMING FOCUSES ON SUPPORTING SUCCESS IN FOUR YEARS OF COLLEGE, AND PREPARATION FOR CAREER TRANSITION AFTER GRADUATION. STUDENTS WORK CLOSELY WITH A COLLEGE SUCCESS COACH WHO LEADS MONTHLY CHECK-IN PHONE CALLS, AND ALSO INFORMAL CAREER MENTORS WHO PROVIDE ADVICE AND GUIDANCE FOR PROFESSIONAL PREPARATION AND TRANSITION.
