Cause Celebre's mission is to provide an enhanced understanding of physical, social, and psychological issues. Cause Celebre, a critically acclaimed theatre and film company, connects compelling theatre and film with important causes.
Productions, tributes and stage readings that educate and bring awareness to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Cause Celebre has toured with the Rosa's Registration Ride ( in honor of Rosa Parks) throughout the country, including Philadelphia, Megan, Georgia, Washington DC and New York City. The Project consists of three parts. First, a play is presented entitled " When the Truth is Not Enough", which is about voters' rights. Then a Q & A follows with the audience, cast and writer. Finally, audiences are offered a chance to vote onsite. In September 2019, the Project was presented to 200 students at a high school in Harlem. After the show, students registered over 100 people to vote.
