CCL PROGRAM FOR SENIOR ART MUSEUM CURATORS:CCL'S FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM PREPARES SENIOR ART MUSEUM CURATORS AS THEY TO TAKE ON ROLES OF INCREASING RESPONSIBILITY, INCLUDING DIRECTORSHIPS. COMBINING A RIGOROUS CURRICULUM OF COURSEWORK AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR PRACTICAL APPLICATION, CCL OFFERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN THE FINANCIAL, MANAGEMENT, STRATEGIC, AND FUNDRAISING SKILLS REQUIRED TO EFFECTIVELY LEAD INSTITUTIONS. THE PROGRAM CONSISTS OF INTENSIVE COURSEWORK FROM COLUMBIA BUSINESS SCHOOL FACULTY, COLLABORATIVE LEARNING ASSIGNMENTS DESIGNED TO BUILD-UP INSTITUTIONAL PROBLEM-SOLVING CAPACITY, AND AN ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT PLAN, WHICH ASKS THE FELLOWS TO APPLY THEIR LEARNINGS AND FINDINGS TO THEIR HOME INSTITUTION. THE PROGRAM COMBINES INTENSIVE COURSEWORK, EXHIBITION AND COLLECTION TOURS, CONVERSATIONS WITH CURATORS AND CULTURAL LEADERS, AND GROUP EXERCISES AT NEW YORK CITY INSTITUTIONS.
