CCCI represents the Chinese-Americans in the Greater New York area, provides social services, preserves the Chinese traditions and cultural heritage, and sponsors charitable and educational activities.
Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association (CCBA) owns real property that it rents out to a day care center. Likewise, they sponsor various charitable and educational activities like free and low cost concerts and musical theater productions. CCBA has expanded the existing social services programs such as public housing applications, senior housing, and social security administration related issues. CCBA conducted Volunteer Program and it was succeessful during 2018. Under the leadership of the President and the efforts of all volunteers, CCBA serviced approximately 7,288 residents with community services requests and free tax returns filing from January, 2018 to December, 2018. Chinese Community Center, Inc. (CCCI) conducts various cultural and social programs to promote awareness of Chinese culture, healthcare, volunteer, youth and senior.
The English division helps the new immigrants to adapt to the American life by teaching them English (i.e. reading, speaking and writing skills). This program improves their social abilities and enables them to gain more job opportunities. The English Division has increased the student registrations and class attendance in the English classes by using Internet to recruit prospective students.
