In 2019, TCP began to develop CommonHealth, a free public digital health platform to help improve our common health. CommonHeath has three core components: App, Data Trust, and Data Map. CommonHealth is currently being piloted with UCSF, UCSD, Weill Cornell, Partners Health, and Cedars-Sinai and will be rolled out through additional health systems during April and May before a broad launch to the general public in June. In 2020, in response to COVID-19, The Commons Project has developed a new service called COVIDcheck to help people and communities better understand their COVID status and take the right steps to overcome the pandemic. COVIDcheck is a free public digital health service that is being developed and deployed in collaboration with global, national, state, and local public health authorities.Through the CommonHealth Data Map, De-identified symptom and other data generated by COVIDcheck users can be mapped in real-time to inform public health authorities and broader COVID response efforts. COVIDcheck aggregate data can be combined with other data sources to give a much richer picture of the pandemic.
