WE ARE A NEW YORK CITY BASED ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND WORKFORCE DEELOPMENT PROGRAM THAT TRAINS AND SUPPORTS WOMEN FROM LOW-INCOM IMMIGRANT COMMUNITIES TO LAUCH FASHION CAREERS AND BSINESSES
Training Institute -Offers a paid full-time 14 week course in the art technique and business fashion that equips trainees with marketable skills and a business plan. Participants complete our program knowing how to make custom clothing, develop and use personal financial planning skills and with a network of mentors and colleagues in the sustainable fashion industry, Business Incubator - supports entrepreneurial efforts among our graduates and other emerging designers and business owners. The incubator provides earned income opportunities, skills building, and job placement for Custom Collaborative participants. Custom Collaborative, in alignment with our mission of creating economic justice, operates Fashion That Works, a worker-owned cooperative development program.
