We promote independent and create opportunities for people with disabilities to pursue their hopes and dreams. Children and adults receiving individual care by Easterseals Central Texas are challenged by a variety of disabilities including: autism, developmental and learning delays; speech, language and hearing disorders; sensory processing disorders; mental illness, stroke, head trauma, amputation, spinal cord injury, polio, cerebral palsy, spina bifida and muscular dystrophy as well as various genetic disorders with high risks for developmental delay. Our services are focused into multiple areas of care that create successful outcomes for clients from birth to advanced age: Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation, Workforce Development and Community & Housing Services.

Easter Seals Central Texas provides exceptional services to ensure all individuals with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work, and play in their communities. Since 1937, Easter Seals Central Texas has been at the forefront of providing services that enable individuals to live with equality, dignity, and independence. More than 21,000 individuals across Central Texas are impacted by Easter Seals Central Texas every year. The Workforce Development Programs is an adult vocational program for individuals with disabilities. Easterseals Central Texas has employed hundreds of adults with disabilities and other barriers to employment in the Paid Job Training Program. Workforce trainees are offered full-time employment and on the job training. Experienced trainees have opportunities for advancement within the Easterseals Team. Paid Job Trainees may also seek additional support from the onsite Transitions Team, including mental health counseling services and referrals for community services.

The Easterseals Central Texas Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program serves babies and toddlers, aged birth to 36 months, with developmental delays or disabilities. Easterseals' staff of early childhood specialists, therapists, social workers, and other professionals work in homes, childcare facilities, and other community settings to conduct evaluations and provide services to children and their families. Service coordination with other agencies is provided at no cost and is an essential component for integrating services around family-centered goals. integrating services around family-centered goals

Veterans Assistance Programs provides services to disabled veterans and their families. This project provides employment services to veterans with disabilities to focus on preemployment services, case management, and counseling services. Also, it provides respite care and case management for veterans families who are caregivers for disables veterans and/or their children who have disabilities and delays through camps and organized activities. The project performs examinations and provides hearing aids for veterans and their family member show have no ability to pay for these exams and/or aids. Form 990, Part III, Line 4D Easter seals Central Texas' (ESCT) Community and Housing Services provides support for people with disabilities and their families including home purchases, residential accessibility, rental assistance, assistive technology, and advocacy. By way of example, ESCT has developed wheelchair accessible condo units for rent to income qualified adults with disabilities.
