SINCE 2014, FFWE HAS EDUCATED A NEW BROAD NATIONAL CONSTITUENCY ON THE NEED FOR CONSTITUTIONAL EQUALITY THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES. FFWE PROVIDES SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE IN KEY AREAS OF SEX DISCRIMINATION (PAY EQUILTY, PREGNANCY DISCRIMINATION, SEXUAL HARRASSMENT AND VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN). FFWE EDUCATES THE PUBLIC ON CURRENT LAWS, HOW TO REFORM LAWS THAT PROTECT WOMEN'S RIGHTS TO ACHIEVE CONSTITUTIONAL EQUALITY. FFWE'S DIVERSE BOARD AND STAFF INCREASES AWARENESS THROUGH MOVIE SCREENINGS OF RELEVANT FILMS WITH DIVERSE SPEAKERS FOR TALK BACKS; PUBLIC SERVICE CAMPAIGNS WITH AD AGENCIES.
THE FUND FOR WOMENS EQUALITY (FFWE) SHARES ITS MISSION WITH AUDIENCES NEW AND OLD, ON THE ISSUE OF GENDER EQUALITY BY BUILDING AND REINFORCING SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE, AWARENESS AND KEY MESSAGING TO INDIVIDUALS, ORGANIZATIONS, PUBLIC OFFICIALS, UNIVERSITIES AND THE PUBLIC THROUGH STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS EFFORTS. EXAMPLES INCLUDE: DISTRIBUTE, SHARE AND PUBLICIZE THE BOOK BY FFWE FOUNDATION AND PRESIDENT JESSICA NEUWIRTH "EQUAL MEANS EQUAL" ABOUT HOW AN ERA WILL IMPROVE THE LIVES OF REAL WOMEN LIVING IN AMERICA; CONDUCT PUBLIC OPINION POLLING AND STRATEGIC MESSAGE TESTING THAT HAS BEEN WIDELY CITED BY ADVOCATES, IN NATIONAL PUBLICATIONS AND NEWSPAPERS, OP-EDS, EXPERTS AND FILMS; PRODUCE AND SHARE RELEVANT ADVOCACY TOOLS, SUCH AS SHAREABLE GRAPHICS AND PUBLIC SERVICE.
SINCE ITS INCEPTION, THE FUND FOR WOMEN'S EQUALITY (FFWE) ACTIVELY CONDUCTS OUTREACH TO ORGANIZATIONS NATIONWIDE TO CREATE PARTNERSHIPS. THESE ORGANIZATIONS AGREE TO INCLUDE WOMEN'S EQUAL RIGHTS AND CONSTITUTIONAL EQUALITY AT THE TOP OF THEIR PRIORITY AGENDA. PARTNERS SHARE OUR RESOURCES, EXPERIENCES AND PLATFORMS TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, LEGISLATIVE STRATEGY, POLICY AND LEGAL REFORM. FFWE PROACTIVELY SEEKS TO ENGAGE NEW PARTNERS BY ORGANIZING AND ATTENDING MISSION RELATED EVENTS. FFWE IS CREATING A NEW DIVERSE, INTERSECTIONAL AND INTERGENERATIONAL LENS FOR SOCIETY AND CHALLENGING THE MYTH THAT SOCIETY IS NOT INTERESTED IN CONSTITUTIONAL EQUALITY. WE ACTIVELY CONDUCT OUTREACH THROUGH OUR PROGRAMMATIC EFFORTS, SUCH AS OUR ANNUAL CAMPUS ERA DAY AND A NEW ERA FOR THE ERA: WOMEN OF COLOR LEADING THE WAY FORUM AT THE CUNY.
