THE MISSION OF GEOPARADISE INVOLVE POVERY RELIEF AND INDIGENOUS OUTREACH, CULMINATING IN AN ANNUAL 18 DAY EVENT KNOWN AS TRIBAL GATHERING, TRANSFORMATIONSL, ECO-CULTURAL GATHERING WITH ATTENDEES FROM MORE THAN 40 COUNTRIES AND 5 CONTINENTS CELEBRATING ART AND CULTURE. IT ALSO SERVES COLLATERALLY AS A FUNDRAISING, NETWORKING AND RESOURCE-SHARING PLATFORM. GEOPARADISE ENCOURAGES AND SUPORTS INDIGINOUS COMMUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ANNUAL "TRIBAL GATHERING" TO SHARE, LEARN, CONNECT WITH ONE ANOTHER TO PROPOSE PROJECT IDEAS THAT COULD BE IMPLEMENTED IN THE VILLAGES TO IMPROVE THE LIVELIHOODS WHILE PRESERVING THEIR CULTURE AND NATURAL HABITAT. THE ORGANIZATIONS STRIVES FOR CIVIC ENGAGEMENT THROUGH THE PROMOTION AND SUPPORT OF ORGANIZATIONS, PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES AIMED AT (1)EDUCATING AND INFORMING MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT (A)SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND AGRICULTURE, (B)HEALTH AND NUTRITION, AND (C)ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL ISSUES; (2)PROVIDING BASIC NECESSITIES TO LOW INCOME,

TRIBAL GATHERING IS THE MAIN PROGRAM AND IS THE STARTING POINT WHERE THE REST OF THE CHARITABLE PROJECTS ARE FORGED WITH THE INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES. THERE IS AN ANNUAL GATHERING OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLE FROM MANY COUNTRIES AND CONTINENTS AND PAID ATTENDEES. THE GATHERING CREATES A HARMONIOUS SPACE FOR INTERCULTURAL EXCHANGE. TRIBAL GATHERING IS A PLACE WHERE THE WORLD COMES TOGETHER. DURING THE GATHERING, TRIBES PEOPLE HOLD WORKSHOPS AND PRESENTATIONS ON VARIOUS ASPECTS OF INDIGENOUS ART AND CULTURE. THERE ARE OTHER WORKSHOPS THROUGHOUT THE EVENT TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL ISSUES, NUTRITION, HEALTH AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.

LIVESTOCK BREEDING PROGRAM AND GARDEN. SEEING THE CONSTANT REQUEST FOR LIVESTOCK DONATIONS COMING FROM THE KUNA TRIBE, GEOPARADISE DECIDED TO IMPLEMENT A BREEDING PROGRAM WHICH WOULD PROVIDE PIGLETS NEEDED. THE ONGOING PROJECT WILL PROVIDE PIGLETS FOR DONATION TO DIFFERENT LOW INCOME COMMUNITIES IN THE ISLAND'S INDIGENOUS REGION OF KUNA YALA, DIVERSIFYING THE ACCESS TO PROTEIN AND IMPROVING NUTRITION. THE TEAM SET UP A DEMONSTRATION GARDEN AND WILL WORK WITH THE COMMUNITIES IN EXPERIMENTING WITH DIFFERENT KINDS OF VEGETABLES AND HERBS IN THEIR DIET. THIS PROGRAM AIMS TO PROVIDE A MORE BALANCED DIET TO DIFFICULT ACCESS COMMUNITIES BY VARYING THEIR SOURCES OF NUTRIENTS.

DONATION OF GLASSES IN THE THIRD PHASE OF THE ONGOING PROJECT, DONATED SECOND HAND READING GLASSES WERE GIVEN TO MEMBERS OF THE LOCAL LOW INCOME COMMUNITY PF PALMIRA, THE MAYAN INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY OF GUATEMALA AND THE BORUCA AND OTHER INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES OF COSTA RICA. THE GOAL OF THE PROJECT IS TO PROVIDE ANOTHER BASIC NECESSITY TO LOW INCOME COMMUNITIES.
