Organizations Filed Purposes: We pledge ourselves to futher the spirt of common brotherhood by preserving the German culture heritage through dedication to song, music, dance, literature, sports and folkloric activities as a contribution of Americans of German deccent.

The annual Steuben Parade in New York City is the largest venue and contribution of Americans of German decent that fulfills the mission statement of the committee. Each year a celebration of song,music,dance,literature,sports and folkloric activities are all represented at this parade.

Parade festivals confirm the mission to hold a parade, what it stands for and represents. The festival selects a queen of the parade, Miss German-American, and a rally for parade marchers.

Parade banquets are held the evening before the parade. Guests from the United States and Germany make speeches and are honored by the community.
