Global Language Project Accomplishments Directly trained 319 teachers, who in turn impacted the lives of 47,850 students Provided approximately 40,000 students with curriculum resources GLPs 2017 STARTALK Summer Training Program was recognized as a Model Program bythe site evaluators from the National Foreign Language Center (NFLC) Doubled the amount of funding received from the federal government for a projectwhere we were tasked to create video tutorials to be used by world language teachersacross the country. This funding shows the high quality of our past work and recognition of the organization as a leader in the field. Increased demand across programs, including receiving 65 applications for 20 spots in our summer STARTALK program.At the end of each teacher training program, we survey participants. During the past year 97% of participants said that GLPs trainings helped them become a moreknowledgeable and skilled teacher 94% said that the content and strategies learned would be useful in their work withtheir students 95% said they would recommend GLPs workshops
