GLOBAL CITIZEN FESTIVALS AND ASSOCIATED EVENTS ARE FREE-TICKETED AND FEATURE MUSICAL PERFORMANCES BY THE WORLD'S BIGGEST ARTISTS. ATTENDANCE IS EARNED BY TAKING ACTION ON ISSUES TIED TO ENDING EXTREME POVERTY. ON STAGE, WORLD LEADERS, NGOS, CORPORATIONS, AND MULTI-LATERALS COME TOGETHER AND MAKE ANNOUNCEMENTS AND COMMITMENTS IN SUPPORT OF THE WORLD'S POOR. WE HAVE HELD PAST GLOBAL CITIZEN FESTIVALS AND EVENTS IN SOUTH AFRICA, USA, CANADA, UK, GERMANY, INDIA, AND AUSTRALIA.

END TO EXTREME POVERTY CAMPAIGNING: GLOBAL CITIZEN'S CAMPAIGNING WORK TO END EXTREME POVERTY ACHIEVES TANGIBLE ACTION ON GLOBALLY SYSTEMIC ISSUES TO WIN POLICY AND FINANCIAL COMMITMENTS FROM WORLD LEADERS. USING THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) AS A SOLUTION FRAMEWORK, WE CAMPAIGN ON EDUCATION FOR ALL; GENDER EQUALITY; FOOD & HUNGER; SANITATION & WATER; GLOBAL HEALTH; AND CLIMATE ACTION. SINCE OUR FOUNDING, GLOBAL CITIZENS HAVE TAKEN MORE THAN 28 MILLION ACTIONS, WHICH HAVE LED TO COMMITMENTS WORTH $48.8 BILLION, WHICH HAVE ALREADY IMPACTED THE LIVES OF 880 MILLION PEOPLE.
